Mission:
Our mission is to increase awareness that mobilizes resources
to deliver 21st century technology to bridge the gap in
educational equity throughout Mexico.
Statement of Purpose:
Out of 25.4 million, 92.7% of all students in Mexico attend
public schools1 and the stark reality is that these institutions
lack access to the resources necessary for a quality education.
That's where we step in. Through our program, in addition to
providing hardware, internet access, learning platforms, we
also provide comprehensive support to bridge the educational
inequality gap.
At UNETE Mexican Foundation, our purpose is clear: to
revolutionize education in Mexico by integrating technology
into the classroom– empowering students and teachers to
thrive in the 21st century. Our mission goes beyond mere
provision of resources. We believe in empowerment. We invest
in professional development for teachers, equipping them with
the skills to effectively utilize technology and become
advocates for its implementation. This approach ensures a
sustainable impact, instilling 21st century skills in future
generations.
UNETE Mexican Foundation: Bridging The Education Gap With Technology.
Vision:
A more equitable and progressive Mexico that enables broad
social mobility and robust civic engagement that fuels a
movement to uplift equal access to educational technology
that strengthens public education.
We calculate impact by
1. Number of equipped media classrooms
2. Number of schools, students and teachers reached.
We calculate the number of students reached by calculating student cohort size over the span of five years, per media classroom.
Although we currently provide Internet connectivity for all schools that receive the UNETE Integral Model, internet connectivity was integrated as a critical component after a few years that the program launched. UNETE currently provides one year of full Internet connectivity for all of the school sites that receive the UNETE Integral Model.
